4th Grade Friends!
Callie has had a great group of friends this year. Sadly, two of her "besties," Annie and now Martha are moving out of state. Luckily, she is blessed with a host of great friends, but it is hard when favorite people move on. A tough life lesson to learn!
The End of an Era
The majority of the Paper Plates team has moved on to club soccer with the River City Rangers. The Plates were together for 3 years or 6 seasons with only 2 losses total! Callie was with the team the final 4 seasons. What a spunky, spirited, determined group of girls. So glad we get to continue playing with the majority of them next year! It's been fun cheering for the Paper Plates. Guess my new mantra is "Go Rangers!" but that's not nearly as much fun to yell!

Confirmation Sunday
Madden recently completed her 6th grade Confirmation class at church and took her vows as an adult church member. Pictured here with her Mentor, Mrs. Sawyer, and our amazing youth staff. And buddy Jane was confirmed too!
Brag Alert!
Awards, Awards, Awards!
Madden was recently honored at school as an Outstanding Student of the Month and also as being on the First Honor Roll. In addition, she made the Junior Belles dance team at school, a team consisting of 7th and 8th graders. At Shirley McPhail School of Dance, she was honored with the "Zero Gravity" award for her awesome leaps, and her peers on the Diamond Troupe awarded her with the "Best Dance Technique" honor. We are so proud!
Callie's latest achievement is that she made the Super II Select Soccer team for the River City Rangers! No more recreational soccer; she's made the jump to the big leagues now! The club is only fielding two teams in her age group, a Division II team and a Super II team, so she was very proud to make the more advanced Super II team. We are proud too!

Happy Memorial Day!
We celebrated a day early with long-time friends. In addition, we said farewell to the Normands who are moving to Virginia next week, and celebrated a host of June birthdays including Porter Normand who turns 4 in a few weeks! A great night with great friends and family.
A special thank you to those who serve and have served our great country, including Craig and Stephanie and Jeff, all in attendance last night, and my dad, his dad, Porter's grandfather and so many others that I am forgetting to list.
