I have the cutest little band geek. Madden rocked the 6th grade band concert, mastering the bongo drums, bells, snare and tamborine. So proud!

Wilson Thanksgiving

We spent Friday with the Wilson family, and the girls got more cousin time with Keelin. She is just precious, a real charmer! Great to have the entire family together!

Cousin Mason

Madden and Callie had lots of fun getting to see their Martin family cousins, Texanna, Barret and Mason, on Thanksgiving day. Callie and Mason play a special game together called "Hide" in Papadeaux's chair! And Callie is teaching Mason some tunes! It was great to spend the day in Anna and Dell's new home.

Under the Bigtop

The girls and I spent Sunday afternoon "Under the Bigtop." It was our school carnival and so much fun! Madden and her 6th grade friends helped earn community service hours by working in Callie's class booth selling cotton candy and fro-yo. Callie enjoyed the freedom of getting to run around with friends on a beautiful Austin day.

The Agony of Defeat

The Paper Plates were defeated 2-1, their first defeat in 5 seasons. It was heartbreaking for all the girls, but all parents agreed it was a much needed dose of reality. They will end the season this weekend by playing a 3rd grade boys team. Should be interesting coming off the loss.
