The only thing missing is the license....

Arlington National Cemetery

Callie is in Washington, D.C. with the National Junior Honor Society. She is an officer in the club - Treasurer - and thus was afforded the opportunity to participate in the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Her friend videotaped the service and shared it with me. In addition, our dear friends, the Normands, who live in Alexandria, met the group at the Cemetery, and they were able to share a hug together.

It's official - I'm a Dance Mom

Spent last weekend with the Trojan Belles at a competition in Rockwall, TX. They won Best of the Best at the show - Wow! My favorite thing, however, was when Madden got home and commented, "That was a really fun two days." I am so glad she loves what she does. Here is her solo dance, and also the Rookie (sophomore only) dance for which they won the large ensemble category, and scandal of all scandals, BEAT the SENIOR class!

Round Two is tomorrow with another competition in Round Rock. Hopefully we will finish before 11pm like last weekend, and I think the seniors will be coming for ya, Rookies!

Friends

Sometimes a photo truly can capture the essence of a friendship. Thanks to Grace and Madden Photography for capturing these personalities!

HBD, Callie!

Had fun celebrating Callie's 14th birthday with cute friends around UT campus!

Officer's Choice

Proud of Mooskie for winning the spirit stick this week with the Officer's Choice award. In addition, she was FISH of the Week. This is an award that is passed from one Belle to another Belle each week. To sum it up,
"The most important part of the FiSH! Philosophy is choosing your attitude. No matter what happens during your day, decide what kind of person you want to be and deal with the situation the best way you can."

Congrats, sweet girl!
